Tsai Wei-Cheng first gained acclaim for his “72” series, inspired by Sun Wukong’s 72 transformations from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West, blending traditional themes with contemporary life experiences. His work explores the philosophical concept of adapting to change amidst life’s uncertainties. Over his nearly 30-year career, his creations have been highly regarded by collectors and the art world. In 2025, Tsai will unveil his latest series, "Phenomenon vs. Illusion," which adopts a broader perspective on the power of language—documenting history, preserving culture, and advancing scientific thought.
蔡尉成的創作從早期以東方文學西遊記裡的孫悟空的72「變」，結合了現代生活中的日常點滴做為創作靈感來源而創作出72系列並因而聞名，其創作的探討主軸，以人在生命中遇到的種種際遇，如何以不變應萬變的哲理來面對。而在蔡尉成創作生涯近30年中，作品一直以來亦受到收藏家支持及高度評價。2025年將發表最新的「成相非象」系列，以更宏觀的角度看待-文字，讓歷史能被記錄，令文化得以保存，使科學能夠推演。
